A friction washer or friction separator is a water high-speed cleaning machine for mixed plastics. The system cleans the materials with a high contamination or persistent dirt, for instance, LDPE and PP film flakes. Ideally, our friction washer follows both the hot washer and a rinsing unit in the plastic recycling process.
Dehumidifying Dryers are designed to eliminate moisture in the plastic material before processing. Air is forced through a desiccant bed to make it extremely dry. This air is then heated to a specified temperature and fed into a Drying Hopper containing the material to be dried.
Hard plastics must be reduced in size before they can be melted down and recycled into new products. Shredding can reduce plastics into shred of various sizes normally of a few inches. Granulating reduces the size further, into millimetres, making it ideal for the next stage of the process.
